Akis Goumas is a contemporary jewellery maker and researcher of mainly ancient crafting technologies of the Aegean region. He works with archaeologists to reuse ancient Greek and metal techniques, revitalising time-honored processes. This film forms part of a research project on the techniques used in Hellenistic jewellery, conducted at the Benaki Museum, Athens.
