This film features Borchalo carpet weavers from the village Kosalar, Kvemo Kartli Region, Georgia. Gorgeous rugs have been woven for centuries by the Azerbaijani people living in this area. The revitalization of this tradition is connected with the late Ryan Smith, an American who launched the project reWoven, which sought out the last remaining weavers in the region and helped them continue this tradition.
