Shioka is a trained as textile designer holding Master degree from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, and has studied design in London and in Tokyo. Since 2017, she has been working full-time at Okayama Prefectural University in Japan, conducting classes in the field of textile design and tutoring students. Here she invites you into her studio where she demonstrates how she prints textiles using an angled printed table.
