Born in China in 1994, WEI Nan has been inspired by sculptural lacquer creation in Japan which demonstrates that lacquer art could be a progressive medium. She uses leather as a substrate to create innovative conceptual works. Her work will be presented by the Gallery by SOIL in Hong Kong.
